BEFORE YOU START
Apply this to an agreed home or project scope. Product suitability, commercial use, response times and service terms require separate written confirmation.
Steps
- 1
Record the delivered models, supplied power accessories and the role of each box. Mark any substitutions against the agreed proposal and resolve them before acceptance.
- 2
Label the selected inputs and cable destinations. Keep a one-page connection diagram with instructions for normal start-up, source selection, volume, mute and shutdown.
- 3
Test each agreed source in each intended zone, both separately and in any required group. Record actual outcomes rather than ticking a general 'multiroom compatible' box.
- 4
Check return from normal standby and a supported restart. Confirm that volume stays manageable and that a household member can restore the ordinary input without an installer account.
- 5
Save firmware and app versions, the date checked and any unresolved behaviour. Use SoundPath Lab’s product change history for research, then follow the exact manufacturer’s update instructions. A changelog entry does not certify this installation.
- 6
Identify the support owner, private contact route and information needed for a case. Transfer account ownership securely where appropriate; do not put passwords into the handover document.
- 7
Keep a dated list of accepted functions, limitations and follow-up actions. Ask the owner to demonstrate the normal routine rather than relying only on the installer’s demonstration.
- 8
For an installation containing Arylic BP50, include the installed firmware, approved package source and support route in the handover. SPL’s 11 October Owner record concerns failed updates of historical 0057-d94126e9; it is not a UAE installation test or a new release. Do not treat B50 firmware as a remedy. A retry instruction during an update does not prove recovery for a unit already restarted into red STBY or lost USB recognition. Agree who contacts support before changing a working household system.
Check if the result differs
An unresolved input, inaccessible control or missing support owner should remain an open handover item. Do not rename it a firmware fix without an observed result.
Sources and evidence
Use the exact product manuals and manufacturer pages for the models involved. SPL Hub interface is reserved but not connected; no local test or user feedback is presented as verified evidence.
Make the plan usable at home
For a majlis or shared living room, choose who controls playback and volume, where the controls stay, and what guests may access. For several rooms, record which zones need the same music and which need independent playback. Test the agreed routine with the people who will use it before expanding the system.
For help, include your emirate, the model names, a rear-panel photo and the connection already tried. Share only the room details needed for the enquiry.
