BEFORE YOU START
You need an unused line-level or digital input on the amplifier, a nearby power outlet and a stable network. Identify the input before buying anything.
Steps
- 1
Photograph the amplifier’s rear panel and note the exact model.
- 2
Choose one connection: analogue line out for simplicity, or optical/coaxial when both devices support it.
- 3
Connect the streamer with power off, then select the matching amplifier input at low volume.
- 4
Join the streamer to the network; prefer Ethernet if the equipment cabinet weakens Wi-Fi.
- 5
Test local playback, then each required service separately. Record account, region and control-device requirements.
Check if the result differs
No sound? Confirm input selection, fixed/variable output mode, cable direction and mute state before changing equipment.
Sources and evidence
Use the exact product manuals and manufacturer pages for the models involved. SPL Hub interface is reserved but not connected; no local test or user feedback is presented as verified evidence.
